Nessies Bar and Grill - Lunch in Harbour Room Foodcourt in Westfield Bondi Junction

In our pathetic attempt to maximise our entertainment voucher, we decided to have a Saturday lunch at Nessies Bar and Grill. We just finished a body combat class at the gym, and we were famished. For a saturday noon, the food court was full. We quickly made our way into Nessies.

On the counter top, different REAL food was proudly displayed. They all look yummy to me. The food varies from different sandwich, burger, ribs, and steaks. I quickly scan the menu and choose on the Cheese Burger with pineapple. Cok ordered the same burger, and we shared a portion of chips.

The meat patties was thick and meaty, but it was a bit hard to chew and a bit dry. The diameter of the patties doesn't complement the diameter of the burger bun, so it's a bit hard to eat it properly. The pineapple was way too thick for my liking, it's like someone just buy Coles' canned pineapple, open it up and put it in the burger. However it provide the strong, sour and tasty flavor for the burger. Overall the burger was tasty and it doesn't provide oily after taste. The chips was delicious. It was crunchy and not too oily. However, I was soooo hungry that I gulped all that down in about 10 minutes.

The best part of this meal was the all you can take tomato sauce. I really loved it when take away food or counter does this. I get annoyed when people charged me for tomato sauce.

Overall, it was a nice meal. A fine burger and serving of chips its just what everyone needs and deserve after an energizing body combat class :p
