Boo ya, this is my first post in this particular blog...I'm so excited... I love reading other's food blog, and with a lot of motivation and support, I finally decided to write one...
My name is Nina, I am a big couch potato. I love sitting at home, watching TV, and eat continously. I love baking and cooking, and I love food in general. I have a beloved sister, COK, and she loves food as much as I do......
So, we have been spending too much time watching TV on Friday and Saturday, that on Sunday, I decided that I need to go outdoor and be exposed to some fresh air and some sun..It was a sunny beautiful day after all. So we decided to go have brunch at Coogee with some other friends
Went to Coogee, walk around at the beach

We also decided to dig some holes, not sure why, but it was a fun day overall.
After all the digging, we were pretty much famished. The plan was to go to 5 o, where all the food like fish and chips and lasagna are all 5 dollars, but they were closed. So, we make a detour to Cafe Linda ( or La Casa), just near the beach, across Chish and Fips
The waitress was quite polite, not so enthusiastic in serving us though. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and they were serving both breakfast and lunch menu by the time we arrived. I was pretty much very hungry, and between the four od us, we managed to order Club Sandwich, 2 Linda Burger and 1 Smoked Salmon Wrap.
The club sandwich (right) consist of three stack of toasted white bread with a sunny side egg, big chunck of bacon, tomato slices, and ham. It was very good. I am not sure whether It was the hunger talking, but It was excellent. The thickness was right, and it is not too crunchy or soggy
The sandwich was served with small pile of crunchy shoe string potato chips, and a small serving of salad ( or should I call it lettuce and tomato without dressing)? I am not a big fan of vegies, but I force myself to eat them!
The burger was more disappointing. In the description, there was supposed to be pineapple inside the burger, but unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found. They also ran out of burger bun, so they served it on turkish bread instead.
I found the meat patties was a bit on the dry side, and it was tasteless. Luckily, they provide us with unlimited tomato sauce and sweet chillli. The fries were good, and there are lots of them too
The presentation of the wrap was nice. I didn't try it, so, quoting my friend, " It was nice, but there are too many vegetables inside it"
She seemed quite happy with it though, so I guess it was quite tasty
Overall, I was quite happy with the food, especially the club sandwich and the fries, not so much with the burger. Everyone was full, but not feeling so much bloated since the food was not too greasy. It was a good day and a good brunch.
